What is the Plug In Profit Site?

Posted by shermanchoo 31 March, 2008 Comments Off

Should you get a Plug In Profit Site?

I know 1 person who has done very well in it (close to 6 figures), and folks who don't do well.

Your income streams will come from:

  • Success University ($129.95 one-time + $55.95 recurring)
  • SFI ($29.95)
  • Empowerism ($24.95)
  • Host 4 Profit ($24.95)
  • GetResponse ($17.95)

Your total cost in the each month, less the Success University one time fee is $153.75 , including the Success University one time fee would be $285.75.

If you have a database of 2000 new comers, they will probably not do very well in Pips. This is because $153.75 per month is quite alot of money and that is the business setup alone. If you include advertising cost, such as Ezine advertising or Adwords, that will require another $100 to $150 per month.

A ball park figure for a Pips site to be up and running is ($285.75 + $150)=$435.75

Most newcomers will be unable to make $435.75 their 1st month.

The best way to succeed with Plug In Profits is to already have an existing database of affiliates that you have. In other words, before you join PIPs, be sure to have anywhere from 700 to 1000 persons in your database that are trained in Affiliate Marketing. Then you simply refer PIPs to them, and they will be able to build the business quickly because of their exisiting Affiliate Marketing knowledge, connections and customer database.

Should you join Plug IN Profits?

If you're a seasoned affiliate marketer in the make money online niche with a make money online database of trained affiliates, then yes.

If you're just starting out, I recommend you try something else without the $435.75 recurring cost.

I would say that if someone were to go into the passive income business, they should focus only on a small set up cost, with a big budget on advertising. For example, if your business setup is $30, then your advertising budget would be x3 that or $90. The reason for this is because making money online is mainly about the marketing and driving traffic. If you have this ratio right, you will stand a good chance of success in the recurring income business, or any niche for that matter.

If the setup bulk is too heavy, less money is channeled into building and maintaining your customer database. A simliar analogy would be setting a shop in an area with expensive rent where money you make is paid to support the rent, and not into your pocket. If however, you setup a cheap $30 lemonade tent (business setup cost) in the middle of the desert, along the path where travellers (traffic) pass, you'll be hearing your cash registers ringing off the hook. An extremely low setup cost maximises your profits.

Internet Marketing - Are You Outsourcing?

Posted by shermanchoo 12 March, 2008 Comments Off

For most people who want to start a home business, they fall under 2 categories. They have time or they have money from their current/previous jobs. If you have savings, its certainly much easier to get started in a home internet business because you'll be able to invest in resources that would save you alot of time.

Some tools are very necessary for an internet business, without which its hard to sustain a long term business.

If you don't have the money to invest in an internet business, then you'll need to invest time, and invest your early earnings into outsourcing your work. Creating cashflow allows you to spend $100 and earn $200, rather then spend 1 hr to earn $200. Making your money work for you will set you financially free.

Before deciding what to outsource note down your strengths. You may be good at everything but its important to do what you're best at , and outsource the rest.

1. Are you a tech expert?
This means…are you good with autoresponders, and html code? Knowing how to work with WYSIWYG editors will allow you to produce simple and nice webpages. Hiring a websdesigner will cost you around $400 to $1000 depending on the website you require. HTML and working with WYSIYWG editors is really easy once you know how and its worth spending time to learn how to do basic webmaster tasks.

2. Are you good at writing or producing short audio and videos?

The internet is a medium for audio, visual & written communication. Writing means sending out messages that allows you to connect with your audience. In a nutshell, online marketing is this. You advertise, your audience responds, you reciprocate. Think of a movie star who sells his film, the audience responds by watching the film (applauding if its good), the movie star reciprocates by thanking his fans for their support and continues to produce better films.
